I have a friend that has a dying father, it’s hard . . . not sure what to say.
I always turn to one book when I think about dying . . . it’s such an incredible view into this realm.
What is born will die,
What has been gathered will be dispersed,
What has been accumulated will be exhausted,
What has been built up will collapse,
And what has been high will be brought low.
Sogyal Rinpoche talks a lot about all these topics and much more in his book The Tibetan Book Of Living and Dying.
If you know someone that is dealing with death, I think this is a great recommendation . . . but you should read it too.
This book will open your eyes about the path between lives and will help you understand the importance of the transitional stages between death and birth.
